"Mei Sehra Baandh ke Aaunga" - Deewana Mujhsa Nahi (A song worth chatting)

Hi, How have you been? Recently, I have been remembering this song "Mei Sehra Baandh ke Aaunga" from the Movie "Deewana Mujhsa Nahi". Sandeep, my elder brother, used to sing this song in his secondary school times.

Mei Sehra ke baandh aaunga - Udit Narayan - Deewana mujhsa Nahi 

He was getting famous for his singing among his school teachers and school friends. He had sung this song many times, and  whenever we got together at home, he used to tell me the stories of his singing. His passion for music is still alive and therefore now he is earning his living by being an Octa-padist cum singer. If you ask me, I love this song alike.

This song is a promise from a boy in love, to the girl whom he love.
"Mei Sehra Baandh ke aaunga, Mera Waada hai", means "This is my promise that, in a well groomed dress up, I will come to you". 'Sehra' means 'festoon', is a head-dress used by groom in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Udit Narayan has sung many songs for Amir Khan, most famous among them is "Papa Kehte hain". This song is also famous among people of Hindi speaking regions of the world. One thing worth noting is that in last decade(since the videographers are easily available), there is a tradition of making the marriage videos. However the movie was released in the year 1990, but the song is still famous among these videographers.

It doesn't matter what the income or social status is, I have noticed that every person would hire a videographer for his marriage, and that is amazing. This marriage video would always carry this song dubbed inside, specifically at the moment when the groom was wearing the "Sehra", ready to take off to bride's place, accompanied by a Band Baaja and Baraat (wedding procession).

In the movie, Aamir is making a promise to Madhuri Dixit that no matter what may come, he would overcome it, and would come to her as her groom. He promises that he would do everything, he would become a rich person, he would love her more than anyone in this world.
I have read the movie plot, Ajay Kumar(Aamir) is in one sided love with Anita(Madhuri), but Anita gets engaged to Vikram(Jainendra).

The marriage is soon to take place, but Ajay gets more obsessed with Anita and starts preparing for marriage too. This song is a result of that obsession and determination.

In the end, it turns out that Anita realizes Ajay's love for her, and movie ends on a happy note. This makes this song fit in every marriage video that a videographer makes in India. Udit has a powerful and melodious voice, and this song creates a emotional aura in the whole scene in movie and in the real life movies too.

Such songs are getting rare these days, its good to keep remembering such melodies.

If you have watched this movie then you may remember the scene where this song appears. Lines of the song goes like this:

'Tala Tum Tala Tum' song pictures

The word "Tala tum" refers to a particular situation where something is filled to its top. Take a pond filled with water but, here this tala tum refers to the heart filled with emotions.

This song is pictured to tell the "tala tum" of the two girls and one boy. With one girl he was having affair in the old times and second one is his wife whom, he loves from deep of his heart.
His heart is tala tum for his wife but the second girl who finds him more attractive now also feels the same for him in spite of the fact that she is also married to some other wealthy man.

But that wealthy man is old and not much attractive for her so, her heart is feeling more tala tum. This role of girl is played by sexy and intelligent Priyanka Chopra. Akshay acts as that attractive guy and Kareena is acting as his wife.
That was the picture part and as we know songs are generally easy to remember for music lovers, I think Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik have always done well together and they have made this song too a lovely one.

I love to listen this song and it goes deep into the heart. If you don't watch the movie I think this song will be a good one to share with your partner. This is a love song and you don't have to put in the story of the movie where the guy is surrounded by two girls.
Of course you partner will not like that. So, forget the movie story and enjoy the song as if you are only two in this song. This is a sexy and completely romantic song.

These lines means a lot for a lover, and the melody in the voice of the Udit Narayn is just tremendous. He has sung this song like no one else could ever, and will ever do. He has put his whole soul in this song.
I had listened to this song in my childhood days, and then few years in my high schools, but it was not available with me, I listened to it here and there, in streets or in buses.  Now I am 26 years old, and I listened to this song again in one of the local Radio channel and I felt as if something a long lost from me, has come back.
This song has so much power and emotions, I simply love this song. Udit dedicated this song to his son Aditya in the interview and it suited there too. I wish Udit Narayan and Aditya Narayan further more success in their personal and professional life.

This song is one of the songs of a big musical and theatrical hit from the movie "Raaz" which was released in the year 2002. The lead roles are played by Dino Moreya, Bipasha Basu and Malini Sharma. The song is a very romantic, heart touching song, and is loved by every loving soul, who has feelings. 

The lines are very easy to understand if your know a little Hindi.

This song is having very beautiful lyrics and very beautiful voice too. I think these lyrics were written specially for the movie Mohabbatein. This movie has a theme which want to give us the message that love always finds its way, and love always wins over hate.
Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai has acted as the lead characters in this song and I think it is put in between the movie as a soundtrack just to show how much they loved each other. Their love was the base and reason for this whole of movie story.  This man(played by Shah Rukh) wanted to prove another man(Played by Amitabh Bachhan) who is father of  that girl who was in love with the first man but died because her father would not accept her affair to this first man.
Their love was so strong that finally he proves to him that love is better than hate and it always wins. This song was specifically written to show the love of this man and the died girl who used to come in his imagination and sung this song with him in his imaginations. Song is filled with the voice of very famous Bollywood singers Udit Narayan and Lata Mangeshkar.
Song as well as movie was a hit and was mostly loved by the college students because story plot was of a college and college students.

Plot in the movie for this song is very beautiful and there is a humor attached to the whole plot. Raj(Shah Rukh) and Simran(Kajol) are on a Europe Trip with their friends and Raj starts flirting with Simran. Simran is already engaged to some Indian boy at home, so she tries to avoid him but the circumstances make them collide again and again. This song is portrayal of one of such circumstances. Simran knew the flirting ways of Raj, so she took it a lie when he was telling her friend that he can play the Piano very well. Simran noticed it and wanted to teach him a lesson, so she announces to the party that Raj was going to sing a song on the Piano. Raj understood what Simran was all up, so after going to stage he just dances like a monkey on the Piano and all the people laugh including Simran but then he shows his real talent making Simran and everybody surprised and sings this song on the Piano.
Voice of Udit Narayan makes this song more flirty because his voice is very much suited for the romantic songs. It is filled with energy and melody.
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge was a blockbuster and broke previous records of Bollywood. It was also a musical hit with such songs in it.
