REview:
Movie -Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya
Singer -Udit Narayan, Sunidhi Chauhan
"Kudrat ne bakhsha tha humko, ek haseen jahan,
tukde tukde kar dala, kyun tune insaan?"
These first lines itself are enough to tell the meaning of the song. The lines are written telling that the nature had created a beautiful world but the men has parted it into the different places, and they are fighting for the boundaries. The few countries named here are USA, Russia, India(Hindustan) and Pakistan.
The main attraction of the song is the singers which are Udit Narayan and Sunidhi Chauhan. It is one of the few songs of the two together. Another super hit song they sung together was the song with titile "Falak tak chal saath mere". It was a romantic song, but this one is about the demand for the piece and unity in the world. I love this song for its theme, the singers working behind. The lyrics could have been a little elaborated but may be it was the demand of the plot of the movie for which it is written which bounded the lyrics.
